Well after getting off the plane, I was able to hop on the first shuttle and make it to the hotel. Great choice of location with the Marriott right off the water. I quickly saw some old friends and made my way to one
of the seats.
After a quick introduction to all the speakers, we were ready to rock!
Stephen Pierce - Dynamic Relationship Building For Creating a Long Term Internet Business
Armand made an excellent decision in starting with Stephen. If there was anyone who could wake up this crowd with the first talk of the day it would be him. Unfortunately, the crowd was still rather tired from all theflights despite
his enthusiasm. Made same great points on joint venturing and helping others, as well as the importance of tithing.
Joe Vitale - Hypnotic Writing Secrets
I was so excited to meet Joe for the first time. He really is a nice guy. Most of hist talk focused on what makes a salesletter hypnotic. Everyone was given a copy of his new paperback the ECode, which answered the question "How do you make money if you only had an email account?" I made a new friend named Donald who published the book -- He's got an excellent site which can publish any book within 5 minutes!
Caught up with Randy and did lunch. How cliche.
Declan Dunn - Effective Internet Testing Strategies
By this time lack of sleep hit me, so I went up to my room for a 1/2 hour nap so I completely missed it. Heard it was excellent.
Kirt Christensen - Creating Residual Monthly Profits with Membership Sites
Woke up in time for Kirt's. I am never disappointed when hearing Kirt. Even though his topic was the same one that I heard at Carl Galletti's seminar, I filled a page worth of notes of new stuff I hadn't heard before.
Jonathan Mizel - Get their Email Address!
Looked forward to meeting Jonathan in person, even though I had spoken to him before on the phone. He revealed to the world his "Name Squeeze" technique, which only coaching club members (like me!) had known a few months prior. It's a brilliant idea but I don't think he wants many others to know about yet.
One of the great things of Armand's seminars, is that you get to EAT! After a delicious dinner, Armand invited us back into the conference room when he revealed that a famous marketer had asked if he could talk... we all held our breaths until an elderly gentlemen walked out... It turned out to be JAY CONRAD LEVINSON! The audience was glued to our seats when the man famous for Guerilla Marketing spoke, and we only stood up to give a standing ovation! Everyone was surprised, he did introduce his new coaching club which many, many people took advantage of.
The night ended with Alex Mandossian giving a short talk on networking. The most important part of these events is not when the speakers talk, but meeting and joint venturing with other attendees. He told to us ask 3 questions when networking:
Who are you?
Why are you here?
and What do you do?
With a talk like this, there's not much time for small talk. At about 10pm (!) all the talks were over.
I was lucky to be invited to a VIP-only party sponsored by the guys from Nitro Marketing. However, I was exhausted. So despite hobnobbing with the rich and famous I caught some Zzzzsss.... what a party pooper I am! It turned out Mark Joyner made a surprise appearance at the party so I kind of regretted it.
